Welcome to my blog!
This will be the host of the chronicles of my adventures in New Zealand. I will be studying at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, NZ for the second semester of their school year. I'm currently a sophomore at St. Catherine University studying to become a physical therapist.
I'm 1 1/2 weeks from D-day and it's finally hit me that yes, I will be gone for 4.5 months half way across the world. I don't normally get nervous, but this seems like a awfully long time! I'm also beyond ecstatic for this trip- hobbit houses, zorbing, meeting new people, adventure capital of the world, what's there not to love? But this is stepping way out of my comfort bubble. Will it be awesome? Yes. Will it be terrifying sometimes? Most likely. But most importantly I hope it is worth the mountains of paperwork I had to complete to get to to this point.
Well, with that note, it's back to panicking, erm, I mean packing!
